Internet Mind Fragmentation

Aside

It’s said that frequent web browsing can cause shortened attention spans. This is undeniably true in my personal experience. Things have gotten so bad that I can no longer even listen to one song at a time. Instead, I switch between three songs on different tabs, playing and pausing each one before switching to a different one before the first has even ended.

Sum 41 – Fatlip

Hard hitting electric guitar. Screaming vocals. It sums up the height of angst and rebellion during the teenage years. Making trouble and causing chaos. A wonderful song that will surely take anyone back to that period in their life.

OMC – How Bizarre

It has a brisk tempo with an upbeat guitar, but at the same time it still feels leisurely. The strumming feels vaguely tropical. The rapping has a conversational quality to it. That and the folksy harmonica give the song an intimate feel. A soothing chorus. A few blasts of trumpet (?) brings the energy of nightlife to mind. This is a perfect song for relaxing, day or night. It feels like a carefree, fresh summer day.
