Crestind, you have covered this well. As you are aware, there is a subset of Spaces users at Office Live Small Business. We embed RSS feeds of our blogs on our OLSB websites as part of the customer/visitor experience. OLSB is another Microsoft service suffering inattention. The crippling of Spaces has caused even more damage to OLSB. Thus, I have moved both the blog and the weather site to Blogger. I do miss the sense of community that formerly existed at Spaces. My home page there has become a dead zone. Now, we need to find a way to keep in touch. Good luck to you.

This is a really good post Crestwind. Yes we are all disheartened about it all. Have you now closed your accounts down on Windows Live? And thanks for the tip about porting your older blogs to WordPress. I didn’t know that there was the ability to do so.

Hello crestind, agree with you on the problems with Spaces. I too am movng. Check me out at http://fidalgoweather.blogspot.com/ They have also crippled the commenting here. Must do this in bits and pieces. This must be their ham-handed solution for comment spam. Visit statistics haven’t worked right here for about a year. Now they are gone altogether. Over at Blogger I can use Google Analytics. I wasn’t aware of the problems with Chrome. I guess that must be another “upgrade” with Wave 4. Windows Live Writer doesn’t connect right here either. Some formatting is lost after posting. Writer works beautifully with Blogger. Of course, an update to Writer is also due soon, so that will probably be crippled as well. Still getting the lewd, nuisance network invitations here as well. Tried to shut it off, but you cannot totally. If you have a Google account, stop over at the new site and hook up as a “follower.” Good luck with the new platform. Let me know when it’s up and running. They allow adding up to ten static pages, so I am moving the website over there also. Again, good luck. Oh, one more thing. I have not seen a single ad anywhere on the blogger pages.

Crestwind, I know of lot’s who have recently left Facebook. I myself have cut it right down to just family if only to get rid of those annoying application updates! There is life outside of Facebook and it won’t last forever.

The application updates are the worst part of using Facebook. Every time you block an app, a new app seems to take its place.

Papa John’s is probably the best pizza I’ve had, aside from a few smaller mom and pop restaurants. Don’t bother trying the pastas as they’re flavorless.
